Divine Mercy Publications and Trust, New Zealand is a Catholic
lay apostolate which first began operating in 1994. Our work
is to promote the message of, and devotion to, Divine Mercy
both in the Catholic Church and wherever the Lord calls us
to spread His mercy. In this light our work has now grown
to include, as a priority, the annual promotion of the Feast
of Divine Mercy Sunday (first Sunday after Easter, or Low
Sunday) throughout the Catholic Church in New Zealand via
the Catholic media and in parishes.
The wider scope of our work in the secular region includes
television advertising conducted twice per year in campaigns
at Easter and Christmas as well as writing articles for the
Catholic media, and where opportunities exist, in the secular
media. We also disseminate literature to numerous developing
countries including Africa, India, and the Pacific Islands
and attempt to support the work of priests, religious and
lay people in these areas.
In the past few years we have set up a prison inmates letter
writing 'work of mercy' to correspond with incarcerated men
held, mostly, in a high security facility in Zambia, Africa.
We provide them with spiritual, and at times material help.
We are available to give presentations on the message of
mercy in parishes, or for other interested groups, anywhere
in New Zealand, or overseas, if assistance is provided with
travel costs.
If you would like to be part of this apostolate please contact
us.
Yours in Jesus through Mary, Director/Trustee
